The Colt SMG is an AR-15 derivative 9mm closed-bolt blow-back submachine gun developed and produced by Colt Manufacturing Company. Superficially similar to the AR-15/M-16 family of rifles/assault rifles, the main visual differences are the large brass deflector directly behind the ejection port, and the use of a modified Uzi magazine.
