colonel (mega man)

Mega Man X character.

A key player in X4. Colonel is the field commander of the Repliforce army (the actual leader, General, being too big to leave his room). He's a samurai type with more honour than sense. He and Iris are the product of an attempt to create the perfect warrior Reploid; the program couldn't be crammed into just one mind, so two very similar Reploids were made instead. They think of each other as brother and sister, and Colonel's eventual death does not go over well with Iris.

Colonel is seen again in the intro to X5 and in one of Phoenix's Magnion's attacks in Zero 2. His incarnation in the Mega Man Battle Network series is even more plot-significant.
