Humanoid bird-like entities that raised Samus Aran when she lost her parents. They are responsible for the creation of Samus's power suit and many relics in the Metroid universe, such as statues, most power-ups in the series, and the titular metroid.

Believed to be extinct. The only living chozo met in game are Quiet Robe and Raven Beak.
