chinook (splatoon)

A type of non-confrontational salmonid of Splatoon's Salmon Run. They accompany the Mothership boss during an event-specific wave. They traverses the area in repurposed octocopter helmets while carrying ice-boxes. These boxes are the main source for Golden Egg drops if splatted by the freelancer.

If these boxes are not splatted they erupt and revealed to be carriers of lesser salmonids such as smallfrys, chums, and cohocks.
