An old Inkling that participated in the Great Turf Wars 100 years prior to the start of the game and leader of the previous and current Squidbeak Splatoon. He acts as mission control and guide to the player during Hero Mode.

He wears ragged clothes that are likely remnants of his old uniform.

He is also the grandfather of Callie and Marie.
