A canister is a cylindrical container, frequently made of metal, for holding a specific object (such as film) or substance, especially a gas or liquid.
For tagging purposes this tag is a catch-all for various cylindrical containers, especially those that lack a specific tag. This tag currently should not be used for thermoses.
