broom (the sorcerer's apprentice)
Inanimate brooms brought to life due to an enchantment cast by an apprentice of magic. The depiction they came to be known by worldwide was fully created by Disney[1], appearing in the animated movie Fantasia.
If broken, each splinter will turn into a new, complete broom, behaving in the same way as the original.
In Fantasia, the broom uses its bristles to walk around as if they were feet.
