brodie helmet

A steel helmet as developed and used by the British army, also known as battle bowler, Tommy helmet or doughboy helmet. Similar in design to medieval kettle helmets, it has a domed top and wide brim. It was used by British and Commonwealth forces from World War 1 until the end of World War 2.
