Blingee, founded 2006, was an online tool for the creation of animated GIFs which allowed users to decorate pictures with user-generated stamps up until the product's discontinuation in June 2024. In popular culture Blingee and the flashy, neon style of its stamps have become closely associated with early internet aesthetics. Particulary artwork which attempts to mimic other art styles that were popular during the mid to late 2000's.
