Benesse Corporation (ベネッセコーポレーション) is a Japanese education & publishing company. It was founded as Fukutake Shoten (Fukutake Publishing) and was renamed in 1995.
"Shinken-Zemi", "Tamago Club & Hiyoko Club (Tamahiyo)" are the brands of the company. Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirou is originally an anime adaptation of Benesse's "Kodomo Challenge" distance-learning courses.
