A "2.5D" fighting game by Arc System Works, makers of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. Released in 2007 in arcades, and a year later on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Its theme is more in line with RPGs and fairy tales, with each round presented as a 'chapter' in the story. Following a climactic war of survival emerged two countries: the Magic Kingdom and the Steam Empire. They are set upon by the 'Scion of Ill Presage', and bring forth heroes to answer DeathBringer's call.
