azur lane: slow ahead
An Azur Lane slice-of-life manga by Hori, set around the schooling and daily adventures of the starter destroyer shipgirls Javelin, Ayanami, Laffey and their advisor Z23.
Adapted into an anime in early 2021 that is not only different in genre and emotional tone to the original Azur Lane anime, but also made at least partly in-house, as Candybox has studio credit alongside Yostar Pictures. The series also features episode end cards drawn by fan artists.
Use this tag for the actual 4koma itself or for things referencing either the anime or 4koma (For example, North Carolina’s bunny suit from both, which predates The Heart's Desire, would only count if it's black with the outfit tips down or black with her jacket over it). The tag can also be used for skins that originated in the 4koma before becoming available in the game, such as Javelin's Slow Ahead! or the starters' fantasy/RPG-themed skins.
