His Sacred Artifact is a golden Snake that can perceive both past and future. Those afflicted by this serpent's venom will have their most deeply hidden memories exposed. Though only in speculation, there are some who consider these memories to be crimes one has committed in a past life or else future crimes yet to be committed. The memories that can be exposed include those regarding events beyond the 23 worlds connected to Tokyo. This is because powerful bonds between those who desire one another can cross even the wall that divides the worlds. It is said that if Astaroth himself is bitten, a woman with long, flowing hair that shines like the stars above will appear. In this Tokyo, one's Shadow and their original self are considered to be two separate entities, but in Astaroth's case, this is not entirely true. For to Astaroth, one's past life and future self are, in many ways, connected.
