astarion

One of the eight Origin characters in Baldur's Gate 3 who can either be the player character or potential party member. A male high elf rogue who was previously a magistrate of Baldur's Gate until the vampire Cazador took him, made him his spawn, and enslaved him for over a century. After the events of the start of game rendered him immune to the usual vampire weakness of sunlight and also breaking him free of Cazador's control, Astarion seeks to finally exact revenge against his former master. Hidden beneath a veneer of flamboyance and charm, Astarion is the most self-centered and callous of the Origin companions, generally preferring to not waste time on helping any unfortunate souls and even further toying with them just for the fun of it.
