Aquaman superhero from DC Comics. He's the king of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and he has the power to comunicate with and control all sea life. He's also a founding member of the Justice League.

Aquaman's depiction in the Super Friends tv show is known to have turned him into a laughingstock among the general public, being seen as weak and useless due to his powers only being useful near water. This continued for decades despite writers aiming to depict him in a more serious fashion.
His portrayal by Jason Momoa in the DC Extended Universe appears to have put an end to this.
