anubis (stand)

A Stand from JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken. Sealed inside of a sword. Most associated with Chaka and Khan. Its original owner died 500 years ago.

When someone wields the sword they are possessed by Anubis, forced to do its bidding as long as they hold it. Can phase through objects when swung, cutting objects behind an obstruction without hitting the obstruction itself. Possesses the ability to "learn" an opponent's attack, allowing it to counter without fail. The longer a fight lasts, the more attacks it becomes immune to.

Namesake is the ancient Egyptian god Anubis.
