american football
A team sport played mainly in the United States and Canada. Two teams attempt to take an oval football into their opponent's end zone by passing the ball, running the ball down the field, or kicking the ball through their opponent's goal posts.
Known simply as "football" in North America.
For tagging purposes this may also be used for all other Gridiron Football depictions due to their similarities in equipment.
