The Ultimate Pianist, and protagonist of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Used to be called a "Piano Idiot" when she was younger thanks to her constant diligence. Kaede is optimistic and proactive, acting as a leader figure among the students and hoping to cooperate with them to stop the killing game.

She has blonde hair with an ahoge on top, and wears musical note hair ornaments. Her school uniform consists of a purple sweater vest with an orange necktie, along with a purple pleated skirt with a musical staff print. Also tends to wear a white randoseru.
