action movie fx (meme)
An app for Apple devices released in 2011 allowing you to overlay various action movie VFX over self recorded video.
One of the most recognizable, and probably overused effects, is "Side-Swiped" where a car is hit from the side by a police car.
The app (and stock videos) later gained resurgences around 2023 as a part of various ironic shitpost meme videos, often without removing the green screen for comedic effect.
