Shinzo Abe (September 21, 1954 - July 8, 2022) was the former Prime Minister of Japan. He is known for being the longest serving prime minister of Japan to date, serving from 2006 to 2007 and then from 2012 to 2020, as well as for being the grandson of former prime minister and war criminal Nobusuke Kishi.
He was assassinated on July 8, 2022.
