Warui (わるい, Japanese for bad, evil, etc.) + Luigi = Waluigi
Luigi's self-proclaimed rival. A sly, conceited schemer who secretly trains in order to defeat the Mario Bros, often competing against them in sporting events. Partner in crime with Wario.
His trademark appearance is having a purple shirt with long sleeves and a purple cap that has an upside down "L", along with a very dark blue/black overalls. He also has white gloves, orange pointy shoes, a thin angular mustache and a hooked pink nose.
While thought to be Wario's brother due to early official English material, various later official sources over the years have confirmed that the two have no familial relation.
