She is Marian's current form, having been recovered and repaired by Rapture forces following her apparent euthanization.
After engaging the Counters several times, she would be purged of her corruption through a substance known as "Vapaus". However, the Rapture "Chatterbox" in its dying moments would force a hard mental reset which left Modernia in a toddler-like mental state, though she still remains fond of the word "Commander". She is currently being taken care of by the Pioneer Pilgrims while on the run from Ark authorities, who hope to cut her up and reverse-engineer the Rapture technology within her body.
