He looks exactly like an adult version of Rock Lee albeit with eyes that are almost shut as an emphasis for his age. As per the other Hidden Leaf mentors, he wears a special green Hidden Leaf vest.
He is the mentor of Lee, Hyuuga Neji, and Tenten, the four of whom form Team Guy.
He is famous for his Self Rule book, in which he makes up his own rules and punishments (in case he screws the rules), and is often considered a joke character in the series.
