In her past life as a human, Diesel was a member of the AFX, a locomotive that is likely the predecessor to the AZX, alongside the people who would later be known as Brid and Soline respectively. However, a terrorist bombing instigated by Crow occurs, killing Diesel alongside her little brother and the other passengers of AFX. All the female passengers killed eventually became Nikkes who worked in the railways.
