A Japanese cardriftingmotorsports series. Founded in 2001, the series eventually expanded internationally to have leagues in the United States, United Kingdom, Malaysia, and New Zealand. The US and UK leagues are both currently defunct, with the two regions having unrelated but still very popular drifting series in Formula Drift and European Drift Championship respectively.
Like Super GT, D1GP is also notable for featuring race queens despite their decreased presence in other motorsports.
