Fate/Grand Order’s depiction of Constantine XI Palaiologos, introduced in the 2022 White Day Spectacle event.
The final emperor of Byzantium before the Ottoman Empire captured Constantinople, he was famous for holding out against the prolonged siege and defending the city until his final breath. There is a legend surrounding Constantine called the Marble Emperor, where he purportedly turned to stone, unable to bear to look at the beloved seat of his empire falling to the enemy.
He is also commonly considered to be the last Roman emperor, on the courtesy of Byzantium having evolved from the Eastern Roman Empire.
In the event, he goes by the fake name Michael until his True Name is revealed. He was later released as a playable Rider-class Servant, designed by Kurahana Chinatsu and voiced by Shinichirou Kamio. His name is localized as Konstantinos XI.
