The Chi Rho (☧) is a symbol composed of the Greek letters Χ (chi) and Ρ (rho), the two first letters of the name of Jesus Christ in Greek (ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ). It was employed by early Christians to also symbolize Christianity. It is also called Chrismon.
