A servant first appeared in Fate/hollow ataraxia, being the first Avenger-class servant of the franchise.
While his true form is that of a pitch-black humanoid silhouette, he is usually depicted with the body of Emiya Shirou. In this form, he has his hands and feet wrapped with bandages, yellow eyes, short black hair, a red headband, and full-body tattoos.
Major antagonist in the Fate series. He participated in the Third Holy Grail War but was defeated. The holy grail became corrupted as a result, turning it into the equivalent of All the World's Evils.
He appears as the irregular Servant Avenger in Fate/hollow ataraxia, replacing Cu Chulainn as Bazett Fraga McRemitz's Servant.
In the Heaven's Feel route of Fate/Stay Night, he becomes Matou Sakura's Servant.
Also appears in Fate/Grand Order in the Friend Point banner, being a unique 0-Star Avenger.
